The Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour can be combined with our Rwanda Chimpanzee Trekking Tour to form our famous Rwanda Great Apes Safari.

Day 1: Arrival

The Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour starts at Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. A drive to the countryside region of Musanze will see you cruise through the scenic land of a thousand hills. Depending on the arrival time, you may engage in an afternoon activity to be shared by your tour leader.

Night in Musanze.
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park

The following day we shall head to Kinigi, where we shall start our Gorilla Trekking Tour hike; in the famous Volcanoes National Park.

We shall carry packed lunches because the trek may be long, depending on how far the gorillas have walked that morning.

The trek takes us through beautiful farmlands, mountain forest and bamboo strands. We shall then enjoy a one-hour session with these wonderful great apes. We shall be able to take many photos and videos as the gorillas move and feed closeby.

After enjoying time with the great apes, we shall descend to our vehicle. We shall then head to the hotel for an afternoon break to rest.

Day 3: Departure

The last day of our Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Tour will see us enjoy the drive back to Kigali with a few strategic stop overs to enjoy the local cultures and scenes. On arrival in Kigali, we shall enjoy lunch and then head to the airport for our departure flights.
