Northern Kenya Wildlife Safari Tour – 7 Days

We shall spend the morning in this special urban park enjoying the local wildlife; and learning conservation topics led by our safari guide. We shall leave the hotel early and head straight to the park, to allow an early morning start.

The wildlife here is amazing and all members of the Big 5 can be seen here on a game drive; except wild elephants. We shall look out for African Lions, Leopards, Nile Hippos, Nile Crocodiles, Maasai Giraffes and Common Zebras. The park provides a sanctuary for Black Rhinos and White Rhinos and these have made the park a special site for all rhino lovers.

The park is also Kenya’s oldest park and has been a famous location for its ivory burning site. Nairobi National Park is only 117 Km2 making it a great place to start our Northern Kenya Wildlife Safari Tour.

We shall then drive North to the mighty Aberdare National Park, where we shall enjoy an afternoon safari drive towards our lodge.

This Park runs the expanse of a majestic mountain range on the eastern edge of the Rift Valley. The park has a great stretch of alpine moorland vegetation, mainly above 3,000m. This great landscape has led to the park’s nick-name:- “Majestic Peaks, Moorlands and Intriguing Falls”.

There is a thick tropical forest, with deep ravines and dissecting riverine gorges. At certain areas, these rivers form majestic waterfalls, which leave a sight to be desired. Many animals occupy this beautiful place and species of mammals such as African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Bush Duiker, Common Bushbuck and Giant Forest Hog can be expected.
